I am about to cancel my subscription to The Age, the only mainstream Australian newspaper I've been able to bring myself to read in recent times (excluding the Bolt page of the Hun, but that's different). I'm giving up because the last bastion of bolshie goodness, Jonathan Green's back page diary, has been removed in favour of a page of unfunny and irrelevant twerpism compiled by nasty, gossipy, sarcastic Lawrence Money and his partner in criminal boringness, Suzanne Carbone.
