The World Wide Web. Really.

Today I checked my hit stats for the first time. Most of it makes no sense (my brain nearly exploded when I saw that I'd had 8000 hits in February, until I remembered that most of them would have been the countless times I tested, tweaked and re-tested my CSS), but some of it is plain enough. For example, I have had 36 hits from "US Government" servers. Ha. Sprung. There are SLACKERS working for the US Government who, like me, find time during their working days - TAXPAYER FUNDED time, no doubt - to surf the WWW. I have also had visitors from Seychelles (hello there), Italy, Denmark, Sweden, Canada, the UK, Thailand and Non-Profit Organisation (Ben? Is that you? 46 times? Sheesh.) Anyway, I didn't expect to have many hits at all yet, except from very small number of people I've told about this site – none of whom live in Seychelles. I think I will have a small glass of champagne when I get my first visitor from Turkmenistan.
