Philip Ruddock opposes “any action which would reduce the status of marriage to that of other relationships, or which would create confusion over the distinction between marriage and same-sex relationships”.
For my part, I oppose any action that would reduce me to being like Philip Ruddock, so I guess we agree on this one.

Meanwhile, over in the wild west, the 2008 Presidential hopeful, Sen. John McCain, is undergoing another one of his switches. Slate reports that he recently supported Jerry Falwell in only having legal unions -- "husband-female" (sic, indeed) marriages.
Maybe that can be a part drag sort of event?
