Today I booked my ticket: I’m heading into the northern hemisphere for the famous South by Southwest conference / festival / group-hug. I leave Melbourne at lunchtime on the 1st of March, arrive an hour earlier in San Francisco, and from there will drive down the coast to LA, before flying to Austin, Texas, where I’ll stay for five days. In particular, I’m really hoping to meet and get to know some other women working in my field, so if you’re a woman working on the web, and you’re off to SXSW, feel free to get in touch.
