George W. Bush probably wishes he'd thought of it first: the Victorian Government is contemplating a ban on the production of films depicting adolescents between the ages of 16 and 18 having sex. As somebody who considers The Heartbreak Kid to be among her favourite films, this is grim news indeed. For teenagers growing up in an increasingly prudish world, it's a flat-out disaster. Are they thinking of raising the age of consent as well?
