Debt-Free and Pissed Off

I just paid off my HECS. I'd planned to emigrate before doing that, but, well, I didn't get around to it. I no longer owe the Commonwealth a cent; I can feel free to resent having paid for my education without an ounce of hypocrisy.

Congrats!
I have a mere $25,000 to go. Apparently they call it HELP now, not HECS, presumably to heap insult upon injury.

Congratulations
I like to play a little game where I compare and contrast my HECS debt with my superannuation account (which is pretty much my only asset)
HECS is currently winning by about $9000. Emigration to Canada just gets more appealing every day.
