ChristianCapurro.com Redesign

A while back I mentioned a site design I'd done for friend and artist Christian Capurro, as part of my quest to keep my work life interesting. Over the first months of its existence, I became aware of various flaws in the site's structure (it showed weaknesses when we started to think about the different streams of content it might expand to include), and when I started tinkering with the structure, the design started to crack.

I didn't start from scratch – this is a not-for-cash-profit venture, and I'm several thousand dollars short of zero after my trip – but I came pretty close to it, leaving text styles intact but redesigning the templates to include an overarching navigational structure (I know, I know), and more space for expansion. The new site is where the old one was. Feel free to let me know if any of the links are broken. I'm working through them now.

I dig the use of the Alert but Not Alarmed Red! Subtle but very effective.

Never let it be said that I don't know how to recycle CSS.
