My favourite freelance gig is looking after the website of the wonderful Australian Art Orchestra. I've been their biggest fan for over ten years now, and as soon as I felt I had something to offer them – namely, my skills as a web-designer – I put my hand up. They accepted. Yesterday, the latest incarnation (my second version) of the AAO site went online, and for the first time it's valid XHTML and CSS – but more importantly, it's now really useful. It looks nicer, the navigation structure is better, and thanks to some heavy work on the part of Movable Type and various MT plugins, the staff of the AAO will be able to look after the bulk of it themselves.
This will end up saving them the cost of the redesign within the first year, and more than that will mean that the site stays really up-to-date, rather than requiring me to find time for updates in my hectic schedule. Next week, I'll be going to the AAO office to teach the staff how to use Ecto, my OS X weblogging tool of choice, which should make updating the site even easier.

Good work. Above all the navigation menu looks
great, but in my opinion the header-pictures' sizes are too high (~80kb).

You are my Ecto hero. I have blogs in three different systems and now I can post from the same interface. This app makes me happy. Thank you for the tip!
