I'm Virginia Murdoch, a 27 year-old XHTML/CSS gun-for-hire living and working (for the most part) in Fitzroy, Melbourne, Australia. This is my personal site, but it's updated far more frequently in my head than it is online. I'm full of good intentions, however.
I've been taking photos since I was 8, first using a Kodak camera from the pharmacy that cost me all my Christmas and birthday money, and most recently using my Nikons D70 and F801 (which cost me all my Christmas and birthday money). I got my first SLR when I was 13.
I'm a Geelong Football Club tragic for a growing portion of each year. Next season I plan to follow pre-season training; my long-term plan is to breed a physically strong but character-flawed captain for the club. When I'm in New York later this year, I'll develop an unhealthy fascination with the Jets, for whom a former physically-strong-yet-character-flawed Geelong captain, Ben 'Benny and the Jets' Graham, now punts.
My two cats, Bird and Wilson, are generally well-behaved.
This site was coded by hand on my girlfriend's 12" Powerbook using TextEdit and Safari, largely while sitting on a bed in the Stardust Beach Hotel in Arugam Bay, Sri Lanka, but also while sitting on beds in Weligama, Galle and Colombo. It was later tweaked using TextWrangler and the life-saving Browsercam on my dual 2ghz G5 and 23" Cinema Display, not that I'm showing off (much).
